Salary: The budgeted salary range for the position is $58,750 to $62,000. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.

Position Summary
The Visiting Research Associate II performs research functions within the Division of Academic Internal Medicine, DOM-affiliated units, and the Vitoux Program on Clinical Research for Equitable Health. The position will be required to perform duties to assist the study coordinators, coordinate study duties, and meet the human subject research of Vitoux Program.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • This position will fulfill research assistance, coordination and study participant recruitment responsibilities in funded research studies. The primary duties will include research participant recruitment and follow-up, data collection, entry and processing, and managing participant scheduling and payments. This position will conduct research according to study protocols that investigate lifestyle and behavioral health interventions for adults with chronic diseases.
  • This role will also help coordinate the ordering, inventory and maintenance of equipment, instruments and data collection and analysis tools, study related procurements, and monthly division reporting requirements. This position will also provide daily support to research faculty and staff related to their study needs.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in social science or related field required.
    • A minimum of one year related research experience.
    • Knowledge of research concepts, practices and procedures.
