Clinical Director (TIES for Families)

Description

The UCLA Training, Intervention, Education, and Services (TIES) for Families Program is seeking a full-time Clinical Director to join our multidisciplinary team. The TIES Program is dedicated to optimizing the growth and development of foster and adoptive youth and their families by providing high-quality mental health services, consultation, and support.

As Clinical Director, you will oversee the delivery of clinical services and serve as a key internal resource on behavioral health issues. You will lead a team of mental health professionals and collaborate across disciplines to ensure the highest standard of care. Primary duties include:

  • Lead the intake team: review cases, monitor case flow, assign cases, and manage group services for children and parents
  • Supervise clinical staff and provide consultation on complex mental health issues
  • Oversee and collaborate with multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychologists, educational advocated, etc.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and professional development
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including program workflow, resource allocation, and administrative oversight
  • Develop and implement new programs to meet emerging clinical needs
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Salary range: $49.09/hr - $109.05/hr
Qualifications

Advanced degree in a behavioral health field (e.g. MSW, MFT, PhD, PsyD, Counseling, etc)

Valid CA license in related behavioral health profession

Minimum 5 years of clinical experience working with children and families

In depth knowledge of psychiatric and mental health service operations

Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and human resources best practices

Expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches

Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

Proven leadership and team management capabilities

High level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
