DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The responsibilities of this role involve learning and facilitating the inner workings and processes of RACP grant drafting and project approvals. You will pave the way for project success through issue resolution, analyzing various documents, and ensuring compliance with program and timeliness requirements, with your supervisor's guidance to develop and enhance your overall work quality, soundness of recommendations and solutions, and effectiveness. Work involves drafting grant agreements, comprehensive analysis and review of project documentation and correspondence to ensure precise support for each project's special conditions, and proper processing of assigned project grant agreements and amendments for time extensions and additional funding.

An accuracy-oriented mindset is essential for your part in our work to identify and collaboratively resolve any issues and problems impacting grant drafting, while your clear communication skills will be crucial for assisting consultants, grantees, and sub-grantees with prompt responses on inquiries regarding project status, program requirements, and effective solutions. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time with occasional in office days when work dictates such requirements. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. More details can be provided during the interview process.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of professional experience in community or economic development, project management, urban planning, public finance or economics; and a bachelor's degree in community and economic development, public administration, business administration or related field; or
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience that includes one year of professional experience in community or economic development, project management, urban planning, public finance or economics..

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
