We are looking for Technical Program Manager for our computers and electronics manufacturing client in Culver City, CA. This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role, but does require the person to be local to Culver City/LA area.


Summary

The Growth Marketing Operations team plays a key role in enabling on-device communications and automated messaging for a global leader in media products and services. As a Technical Program Manager focused on Data & Privacy within Growth Marketing Operations, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to enable data and machine learning models, enhance privacy controls, and ensure that user privacy remains at the forefront of all growth messaging initiatives.


Our Ideal Candidate


  • 10+ years of experience managing large cross-functional teams requiring a deep understanding of technical design, back-end architecture, and data pipelines.



  • Passion for growth marketing and consumer lifecycle management with a strong foundation in technical program management.



  • Proficient in managing projects involving Data and ML integration, with strong project management skills and a thorough understanding of testing, build, and release processes for complex software systems.



  • Familiar with GenAI technologies, including building and deploying Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using Large Language Models (LLMs), and vector databases such as ChromaDB and Pinecone.



  • Have a proven ability to establish rapport, credibility, and influence others to drive results across a large, matrixed organization.



  • Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of iterative software development.



  • Knowledge of development processes and methodologies, including Agile, and an understanding of how to leverage these techniques to provide value to a team and enterprise.




In this role, you will lead the Data Enablement & Privacy initiatives within Growth Marketing Operations, ensuring data signals and ML models meet privacy and compliance requirements.

You'll partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Growth Marketing teams to achieve key goals and deliverables. This includes:




  • Gathering and documenting technical requirements needed for Privacy and Legal reviews.



  • Defining project scope, identifying dependencies, and managing Data Enablement & Privacy project schedules.



  • Coordinating with technical teams to design, build, and execute Data Signals and ML models aligned with marketing strategies.



  • Managing risk, mitigations, and re-planning as necessary.



  • Providing regular program status updates and clear communication to stakeholders.



  • Driving on-time delivery and approval of data signals and ML models while ensuring privacy and legal compliance.



  • Proactively identifying and resolving issues, guiding engineers on implementation decisions affected by privacy, safety, or security requirements.



  • Creative problem-solving related to team, project deliverables, and cross-functional issues.



  • Understanding and valuing the commitments of development teams, ensuring technical alignment with project goals.




You will also support the Growth Marketing Operations team's overall success by maintaining clear documentation, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and championing privacy best practices across all projects.


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline (B.A./M.S. or advanced degree preferred).



  • Background in technical program management, data privacy, growth marketing operations, and data/ML technologies.



  • Preferred experience in consumer-facing applications, privacy law, and automated marketing systems.

  • The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $108.00 - $113.00 per hour.
