Student Custodian

The Student Custodian supports the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of campus facilities. Under direct supervision, the custodian assists with routine cleaning tasks and helps ensure a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Student Union Building is looking for a candidate who can begin work this Summer 2025.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Dusts and mops
floors.
- Vacuums carpets.
- Empties trash
receptacles and trash bags for proper disposal.
- Locks doors after
cleaning areas.
- Performs
miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

-Ability to carry out detailed tasks.
-Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
-Ability to understand verbal instructions.
-Strong customer service skills.
-Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
-Ability to operate vacuums and other related equipment.
-Ability to work independently after training is complete.

Varied and flexible (15-28) hours a week.
