Position Title: HR Intelligent Automation Manager

Location: St. Paul - Hybrid (2-3 days on-site per week)

Position Overview

The HR Intelligent Automation (HRIA) Manager reports to the HR Operations Director and will lead our HR digital transformation leveraging a multitude of enterprise IT solutions to modernize our HR business processes. This role will oversee solution development, maintenance, and optimization while ensuring alignment with global business needs and our HR strategy. Lead a team of 2-5 to deliver requested business solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for improving, streamlining, and automating human resource-related business processes, while focusing on making HR workflows efficient, transparent, and adaptable.

  • Lead a team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of HR technical solutions (MS Azure, Power Platform, LogicApps, EntraID, SharePoint, etc.) to enhance HR organizational efficiency.

  • Apply project management and process improvement methodologies to optimize HR's internal processes and enhance HRIA service delivery.

  • Lead and implement the HR workstream deliverables for the global chat bot / digital assistant project. Partner with the IT project manager to enhance solution performance.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure seamless system integration and process optimization.

  • Provide technical leadership in programming languages such as Power Fx, SQL, JavaScript, and Python.

  • Set a knowledge management strategy and structure for HR related content for the organization (intranet) and for effective internal HR operations.

  • Follow change management policies and procedures for systems modifications.

  • Work with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to create HR transformation roadmaps that align with business strategy and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Member of HR Technology & Data Steering Committee

  • Evaluate and recommend HR technology solutions to improve functionality and user experience.

  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the HRIS meets evolving business needs.

  • Partner with IT and Legal teams to safeguard data privacy and security across HR systems.

  • Manage and mentor the HR intelligent automation team, fostering skill development and high performance.

  • Collaborate with team members to gather requirements from HR stakeholders and support process modernization initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Human Resources or related field

    • 8+ years of experience in HRIA, HRIS & Ops or HR technology roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

    • Experience in the following programming languages: Power Fx, JavaScript, Python, SQL.

    • Experience with the following software: Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse), Power BI, SharePoint Online, Azure, InfoPath.

    • Strong project management and organizational skills.

    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on improving business processes and operational efficiency.

    • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels and deliver integrated IT solutions that meet mission and organizational requirements.

    • Strong understanding of HR business processes, data analytics, and compliance requirements.

    Preferred Requirements

    • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or technical certifications related to HRIA platforms.

    • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.

    • Experience working in global teams.

      Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

      The salary for this role is $104,000 - $136,000.
