The Senior Manager, Market Access Learning & Development - Sleep is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative, interactive, and impactful market access training programs across the Sleep Business Unit. These programs will enhance the effectiveness of Access and Reimbursement Managers, Specialty Sales Consultants, Regional Sales Managers, Payer Field Teams, and Channel Account Managers. The role involves collaboration with Market Access functional leaders, Brand Sales Training & Development Leads, external vendors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to implement high-quality learning solutions. This position reports directly to the Director of Sleep Learning & Development. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive Market Access training strategy and curriculum. Design, implement and facilitate onboarding and advanced training for Account Reimbursement Managers, Specialty Sales Consultants, Payer Field Teams, and Channel Account Managers. Train Field Sales teams on market access landscape, reimbursement processes, and key messaging to enhance brand perception. Collaborate with Brand Sales Training Leads to integrate market access training into new hire programs for SSCs, ARMs, RSMs, and ABDs. Maintain deep knowledge of managed markets, including payers, PBMs, specialty pharmacies, Systems of Care, Medicaid, and Medicare, and conduct ongoing internal training. Support successful product/indication launches by designing managed care training workshops, including testing and certification. Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing to develop training materials that align with evolving business needs. Ensure training content progresses from fundamental to advanced competency levels, applying best practices in instructional and adult learning principles. Conduct ongoing needs analysis using insights from cross-functional teams, field interactions, and SMEs to refine training strategies. Develop and implement metrics to measure training effectiveness in collaboration with the Sleep Learning & Development team's Instructional Designer. Stay updated on industry trends by attending Market Access and Training subject matter meetings. Provide training opportunities for non-field Market Access teams in partnership with Learning & Development and Brand Training & Development. Ensure all training activities adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements. Effectively manage resources and budgets to achieve training objectives. Travel up to 40% for field activities, POA meetings, conferences, training classes, and departmental meetings at Jazz Pharmaceuticals' U.S. offices (Carlsbad, Palo Alto, & Philadelphia). Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
8+ years of industry experience, preferably in specialty pharmaceuticals/biotech, including successful sales performance or market access experience. 2+ years of experience in sales training, market access training, and/or reimbursement training, with a proven track record of developing and delivering engaging training solutions using adult learning principles and distance learning methodologies.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of managed markets and reimbursement. Ability to thrive in a matrixed, highly regulated environment. Knowledge of field-based and internal employee roles and responsibilities. Experience in training program development and instructional design. Strong vendor and contract negotiation skills. Experience in LMS Systems
Education & Certifications:
BA/BS degree in Science, Education, Business, or Marketing (required). MBA or other advanced degree (preferred).

For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $148,000.00 - $222,000.00 Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.
