Georgia-Pacific, LLC is seeking a Customer Account Manager to be a part of our Kraft Customer Experience team. This role involves processing orders, scheduling demand, and monitoring inventory. The position requires interaction with all customers, sales representatives, mill personnel, logistics, and other key internal stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving issues and fulfilling requests for all activities related to the account.
  • Facilitate growth with customers by supporting their needs, meeting expectations, and understanding unique trends.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to update them on any changes or delays proactively.
  • Collaborate with immediate team and cross-functional teams to develop and implement service improvement and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Approach challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset by identifying root cause(s), proposing realistic solutions, and executing resolutions promptly.
  • Manage both mill and warehouse inventory levels to help maintain steady operations, encourage FIFO, and ensure consistent product availability per customer's needs.
  • Process purchase orders with appropriate attention to detail and monitor throughout the production and shipping processes.
  • Coordinate closely with the internal logistics group to help address questions and concerns to promote timely delivery for both inbound and/or outbound product shipments.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in customer service, sales, sourcing, supply chain management, or another related discipline (i.e. inventory, logistics, planning, or scheduling)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications

What Will Put You Ahead

  • General manufacturing or paper industry knowledge/terminology
  • Familiarity with order management, fulfillment, or inventory programs (Elixir, Honeywell, Ariba, or similar)
  • Intermediate reporting-related skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and manipulate data
  • Basic accounting principles
