Position Overview:

The Sales & Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the coordination and facilitation of KaVo's presence at industry trade shows, dealer events, and other Sales & Marketing-driven internal or external events. Additionally, this role is responsible for the coordination and execution of marketing programs and campaigns and collaboration with the Creative Director as assigned.

Position Description / Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Facilitate lead generation and reporting in CRM, including show/events report-out
  • Support social media content implementation on platforms
  • Coordinate tradeshow and event logistics, including literature selection & distribution, show and booth selection, services, layout, ordering equipment, staffing, hotels, and all other related functions
  • Support the development, launch, analysis, and reporting of marketing and advertising campaigns, including but not limited to brand awareness initiatives, lead generation campaigns, and dealer programs and events
  • Track and monitor costs and inventory associated with all tradeshows and event-related activities, to ensure adherence to the budget.
  • Track & monitor marketing activity (ie. purchasing, invoices, and expenses) for all marketing & sales activities in North America
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to tradeshow and marketing activities
  • Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational institution.
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC for 20 hours per week, 10 to 12 weeks from May to August
  • Solid oral, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and interface with a cross-functional team.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Experience with social media marketing and a range of social platforms such as Facebook, Linked In, Instagram, Pinterest
  • Prior leadership experience in college, community, internship or co-op experience
  • Prior experience in an administrative role responsible for data entry & management
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week onsite through December 2025.
