Hours & Pay:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $18/hour
• Employment Type: Temp-to-hire

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll play a critical role in resolving back-end collections and claims challenges by:

• Reviewing and interpreting insurance policies and medical documentation.
• Managing tasks such as denial appeals, payment reviews, balance billing, and claims generation.
• Communicating effectively with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams.
• Handling clerical duties including calls, emails, and faxes.
• Reporting concerns and updates to the Revenue Cycle Manager and Supervisor.
• Performing additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years in DME or medical billing preferred; minimum 1 year of insurance verification or authorizations required.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 codes, HCFA 1500, UB04, Medicare/Medicaid billing policies, EOBs, HIPAA, and general medical terminology.
• Skills: Strong organization, high accuracy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
