Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for accounts receivable to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage the accounts receivable team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor aging reports and oversee collection efforts for overdue accounts.
  • Analyze credit risk and establish credit limits for customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on the status of accounts receivable and cash flow forecasts to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounts receivable function.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with external collections agencies as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Credit and Collection Manager (CCM), Certified Credit Professionals (CCP), or Certified Credit Executive (CCE) preferred
  • Several years of experience in accounts receivable or finance, with leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
