Gemstar is looking for an experienced Regional Channel Manager to join the team supporting our location in Cannon Falls, MN! This role has the opportunity to work remotely in MN, MO or TX and is responsible for the US central region with expectations to travel frequently. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining direct case customers and distributors to increase sales and profits. You would design and implement sales strategies, call on customers, attend trade shows, and ensure adequate sales service as well as support company-wide efforts to increase sales volume and profit margin from custom protective case customers.

A day in the life of a Regional Channel Manager includes:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Relationship selling
- Key account management
- Annual sales growth planning
- Manage possible channel conflicts
- Works with customer service to assure problem resolution and maintain service levels.
Providing Input on:
- Competitive pricing & positioning analysis
- Channel Marketing Support
- Voice of Customer (VOC) facilitation: Both partners and end-users
- New product launch planning and execution
- Go-to-market channel strategy development and execution
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Relationship-based customer-facing channel management and / or key account management experience
- Exceptional project management and execution skills
- Ability to travel up to 75% during peak travel periods, and 50% on average annually.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in business administration, marketing, or engineering focus.
- Previous experience as a key account manager or sales channel manager.
- Minimum of 5 years field sales experience with quantifiable achievements in sales, sales management or channel management preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience selling to the government and tier one suppliers, along with OEM's.
