Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide solutions for the Sales team to be presented to potential customers.
  • Build new offerings based on industry trends.
  • Support cases for existing and potential new customers and offerings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with crucial team members, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all business development activities.
  • Manage and mentor junior business development team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize business development strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance its reputation and network with potential clients.

Mandatory Capabilities/Skills /Years of Experience
  • At least 20+ years of overall experience in global, fast paced, healthcare BPaaS domain, Consistent record of client management, case studies with target growth and ability to resolve issues. Experience in solutioning and leading complex deals with transformation and building a savings profile
  • Engage in negotiations and contracting to secure favorable deals with reasonable terms and agreements
  • Pivot to Digital First strategy, by pushing forward digital solutions and services to our clients.
Preferred Capabilities/Skills
  • Leadership experience: Strong organizational and leadership skills in developing a robust delivery function and setting a positive example; proficient in budgeting and being responsible for business operations
  • Industry knowledge: Domain Authority of US Healthcare industry (BPaaS)
  • Financial Foresight: Adhere to budgets, drive revenue targets. Make sound investment decisions based on data to increase value
  • Commercial knowledge: Ability to analyze sales opportunities and help qualify leads and opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Skilled in maintaining relationships with Clients, internal stakeholders and within Business Unit. Ability to communicate across stakeholders to align strategic plan & direction. Identify new opportunities in existing relationships

The annual salary for this position is between $220,000-$250,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
