This position reports to

Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of the maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

This role is contributing to the {insert product group/business area/division/function} in {insert region}. Main stakeholders are {insert main stakeholder groups if available}.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Responsible for planning material requirements and expediting material, processing stock orders in SAP and ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained
*Physically procure items from local vendors via phone calls and in-person travel when situation requires. Obtain cost approval as directed by plant management prior to making purchases
*Schedule preventative maintenance daily, with weekly updates, and daily verification of equip-ment availability. Plan activities for Plant Shutdown with the Maintenance Specialist and report schedules to management.
*Evaluate new Work Order requests and approve or consult with maintenance management on approval

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR High School Diploma with minimum 4 years experience.
  • Preferred Experience Includes:
  • 4 or more years experience planning/scheduling maintenance in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP and WordDay
  • Experience with reliability center maintenance, lean manufacturing and analytical problem solving tools including Six Sigma, Root Cause Failure Analysis and statistical analysis methods
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
