What you'll do

We're excited to announce a dynamic opportunity for a talented International Tax Manager to join our growing team! This role offers the flexibility and convenience of fully remote work, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the United States. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Global Tax, this role is ideal for a motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced setting, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and consistently delivers high-quality work.

As a key member of our Tax team, the International Tax Manager will be heavily involved in all aspects of international tax for a global company operating in 80+ countries. This role will primarily include supporting the US international compliance of our domestic tax returns in collaboration with our co-sourced external tax provider, management of quarterly and year-end foreign provisions for income taxes (ASC 740), management of local country tax compliance for selected countries, and tax planning initiatives and business support projects.


The day-to-day

  • Review and/or preparation of quarterly and annual foreign tax provisions (ASC 740) and US international calculations, including BEAT, GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, E&P, FTC, and FIN 48.
  • Support external service provider in the preparation of all required US international tax compliance forms for foreign entities such as Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, and 8865.
  • Management of annual Country by Country (CbC) Report and CbC Notifications.
  • Review and/or preparation of Pillar II tax regime quarterly safe-harbor calculations and assist with Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) implementation.
  • Oversee foreign vendor withholding taxes including review of certificates, remittances, and annual Form 1042 filings.
  • Responsible for local country management of foreign income tax compliance, tax audits, indirect tax, and provide tax focused support to business areas in designated countries with the support of external service providers and working with management and other business areas.
  • Assist in variance tax planning initiatives and business support projects, including international acquisitions and reorganizations.
  • Monitor current international tax developments for potential implications to the company.
  • Research and analyze impact of enacted and potential law changes and prepare memos and action plans to support tax positions.

What you'll need

  • Demonstrated ability in public accounting with preference for working for a Big 4 Firm with significant US international tax compliance experience.
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required. Master's in Taxation a plus. Will also consider those with a law degree that have been focused in international tax.
  • CPA certification a plus.
  • Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, with an emphasis on the US International provisions.
  • Foundational knowledge of tax laws in various countries advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, self-organization, and attention to details.
  • Ability to handle complex accounting and tax issues and projects in a multi-tasking environment.

Salary range

$119,500.00 - $210,500.00 / annually.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $149,000.00- $224,000.00/ annually
