Description

  • Assists in developing and implementing effective sales and business development programs, reviewing and modifying as needed.
  • Assists with the development of long and short run strategic business development plans to complement and support Credit Union goals and strategic objectives.
  • Assists in developing the business development project plans, budget, reports and monitors expenses to ensure costs are maintained within the established budget.
  • Develops and maintains effective public relations with members, business development / marketing professionals, and external business contacts.
  • Identifies, solicits and contacts prospective key contacts within existing groups to solicit new memberships.
  • Coordinating all aspects of events as defined by specific partner company requirements, including ordering and compiling promotional materials as necessary, following MMP process.
  • Establishes and implements effective communication, ensuring that members' requests and questions are promptly, appropriately, and courteously resolved.
  • Ensures that members are properly informed of Credit Union services, products, and policies.
  • Assists in answering requests for Financial Education Series, and represent credit union and conducts new member orientation presentations and coordinates sign-up schedules with exisitng member groups.
  • Ensures that the Credit Union's professional reputation is maintained.
  • Maintains and protects the confidentiality of member groups and Credit Union information.
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and coordination with departments and management.
  • Provides assistance and support as needed, responding to staff questions regarding field of membership.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns providing suggestions to management for better member service.
  • Supports effective partnership within BD Team (IE. Schedules, communication, sharing of best practices, ).
  • Serves as a liaison between all partner companies and all Credit Union departments and offices.
  • Completes required reports, records, and related documents accurately and promptly. Enters data into the applicable software applications for tracking targeted offers, promotions, response and penetration levels.
  • Maintains new and current Workplace Partners (SEGs) information within Salesforce System (CRM) to adequately track activities and company relationship status.
  • Stays informed of developments in assigned fields and keeps management abreast of any updates impacting the Credit Union's operations.
  • Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Attends meetings as required.
  • Completes special projects as assigned or as business conditions dictate.
  • Assists in coordination of merger efforts, as required.

Education
Bachelors of Business Administration (preferred)
Experience
*Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, and Email. (preferred)
*Knowledge of Credit Union products and services. Understanding of sales and promotion techniques. (required)
2 - 5 years: *Two to five years' experience in a similar or related field. (required)
*Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in sales, marketing or equivalent experience. (required)
