ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ have a contract to direct hire position available

Space Force- Release Train Engineer
  • Experience with Space/Ground Systems, hybrid-cloud enterprise solutions, and large-scale program integration.
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) using JIRA, Confluence, and customizations we build in the Power BI dashboard.
  • Establish and communicate the annual Iterations and Program Increments (PIs) calendars.
  • Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process that drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs through pre- and post-planning events.
  • Contact with the Deputy Program Manager of Engineering (DPME) and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teams across the company.
  • Coordinate across subcontractors, tasks, and priorities.
  • Developing mitigation plans to maintain schedule and program requirements.
  • Develop overall RTE planning with the customer and key engineering functions.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with Space/Ground Systems, hybrid-cloud enterprise solutions, and large-scale program integration.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle.
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas.
  • Skilled in negotiation and able to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
