We are searching for a Transitions Consultant for a wealth management client. This role involves using specialized knowledge and skills to facilitate the creation and implementation of systems needed for new offices, satellite offices, and financial advisors (FAs) to successfully transition to the client. The consultant fosters relationships with new offices and FAs, identifies and resolves transition-related problems, and makes moderately complex decisions with some evaluation and ingenuity.
*Job Duties:* * Educate new branch personnel on policies and procedures related to operations, compliance, marketing, technology, investment products, and general business issues. * Coordinate all operational features of office establishment prior to the start date. * Provide consultative educational orientations to new FAs, offices, and their associates via on-site or telephone meetings. * Support branches with general questions during their transition. * Act as a liaison and ensure follow-up and completion of all transition responsibilities with home office departments. * Assist with new FA and branch paperwork, including opening accounts, transferring accounts, setting up files, and following up on incomplete information. * Collaborate in the development of new educational ideas and systems. * Act as a liaison to Business Development, Private Client Group Education, and Sales Management. * Serve as the primary point of contact when team members are away from the office. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. *Qualifications:* * Series 7 is required. * Series 63, 66 is required within 120 days (dependent on state law). * 1-3 years of financial services/wealth management experience is required. * Knowledge of basic office practices, procedures, and methods; account types, transfer processes, and industry operations; back office systems in wealth management. * Skills in organizational and time management, operating standard office equipment, using required software applications, detail orientation, and follow-up. * Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment; * Use effective oral and written communication skills. * Execute instructions and request clarification when necessary; * Work under stress and pressure; provide high-level customer service. * Work independently and collaboratively; establish and maintain effective working relationships; learn new software and proprietary systems. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $40.86/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
