We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Retail Strategy and Capabilities who will be responsible for enhancing the profitability and efficiency of our retail stores. Based on your experience and evolving business needs, you could be focused on revenue growth projects, sales planning, retail business analytics and strategy, and/or program management. As a leader, you must be able to collaboratively foster innovation from your team and develop strong cross-functional partnerships with sales leaders, sales operations, product, analytics, IT, finance, procurement, vendors, and more. Your recommendations are based off data, and you know how to be agile and prioritize solutions that drive results. You bring exceptional problem-solving skills, with a foundational understanding of sales, operations, and general business management. This role reports to the Director of Retail Strategy and Capabilities. Responsibilities
* Build and manage strategic initiatives for retail across a wide range of scope - from building businesses cases to support market expansion to supporting business reviews. * Manage multiple solutions simultaneously through the product lifecycle, from concept and ideation, to testing, launch, and continuous optimizations. * Motivational leader - ensuring direct reports are engaged and delivering results in dynamic environment. * Partner with cross-functionals to ensure efficiencies in ways of working, including overseeing vendor relationships. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent * Minimum 7 years of experience in business management, strategy, sales operations, product management, program management, or related field, with increasing responsibility. Experience in the telecom industry is highly preferred * Minimum 1 year managing direct reports * Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to solving unique business problems. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, project management, and data visualization tools, e.g., Excel and/or other analytics tools, Lists, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Project, Tableau, Jira * Experience with front-end and back-end sales systems, including but not limited to, POS systems, CRM systems, and sales automation tools, a plus * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data-points into easily consumable insights * An enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality, with a proactive and hands-on approach * Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating high adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment * Strong project/program management skills and ability to pair strategic thinking with execution excellence * Willing to travel up to 25% to be regularly present in the Optimum field across the footprint At Optimum, we're fueled by our four core pillars: Taking Ownership, Upholding Transparency, Creating Community, and Demonstrating Expertise. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00-$168,912.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity. |
