Warehouse Technician, 1st Shift - Calexico, CA

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Technician to join our Calexico, CA team. You will pick and prepare orders for shipping and utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items.

You will:

• Pack incoming stock away, taking inventory, and reporting shortages.
• Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Pick orders as requested by management, ensure correct shipping information is attached, and move completed orders to shipping area.
• Seal and tag containers, confirm accuracy of orders, and sign pick tickets to confirm.
• Place containers on pallets, and secure with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping.
• Pick, place, and load products by using forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year of prior forklift experience.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist.
• Must be able to lift-up to 30 pounds from floor to waist.
• Previous experience in a similar warehouse environment.

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $17.00/hour. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

Shift:

• 1st Shift, start time between 7am-9am, working 8-10 hour shifts
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.
