POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Company is undertaking a multi-phase implementation of an Oracle Cloud system, with the first two phases implemented in 2023 and the next Phase (Procurement) currently in the planning stage, with expected implementation in mid-2024. This position is a hands-on role, responsible for the ongoing development, configuration, implementation, enhancement, testing, administration and support of the Company's Oracle Cloud ERP procurement system, as well as other Oracle Cloud systems and applications.
This position will work closely with the Director of Financial Systems and partner with key members of the Finance department in the specified business area to ensure that the maximum value is obtained from the Oracle Cloud ERP system through the implementation and subsequent enhancements, as appropriate.
MAJOR / KEY JOB DUTIES
* The Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Analyst (P2P) is responsible for all aspects of the Oracle Cloud ERP solution, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, integration, (assisting) User Acceptance testing, reports, solutions maintenance and support, with a primary focus on the Procure to Pay functional areas covering the Procurement, Accounts Payable and Cash Management modules
* Secondary focus will be to provide assistance on other Oracle Cloud ERP areas when needed (e.g., General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable) as well as Oracle Cloud EPM (Electronic Data Management, Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service, Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service and Automated Reconciliation Cloud Service)
* Responsible for implementation of new functionality, enhancements to existing functionality, identification of technical and functional gaps in the current business processes and recommendations on how to leverage the Oracle Cloud ERP solution to fill such gaps to improve overall business efficiency
* Provide support to business users including timely issue resolution, root cause analysis, managing Service Requests with Oracle and working with IT department and/or third part consultants as required.
* Monitor appropriate system scheduled tasks and related interfaces to ensure accuracy and integrity of data, working with IT department as required on interfaces with external applications
* Assist with regular (monthly/quarterly) upgrade testing as needed
* Manage internal controls compliance and system security, including user accounts, permissions and access rights and approval workflows
* Manage and help develop training materials and assist in ongoing training for business users
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES
* Deep functional and technical understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP P2P modules including Procurement, Accounts Payable and Cash Management
* Working knowledge of other Oracle Cloud ERP modules along with Oracle Cloud EPM modules
* Knowledge and experience working with end-to-end financial business processes including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report
* Experience with process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering, and analysis utilizing in depth SQL
* Full life cycle project delivery experience including requirements gathering, concept derivation, analysis, configuration, CRP, SIT, UAT, implementation, go live hyper support and steady state support
* Experience with one or more Oracle Reporting tools including Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, and/or Tableau
* Financial background and general understanding of GAAP accounting
* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to provide excellent customer service and collaborate between teams
* Ability to manage and improve policies and procedures
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
* Less than 10% travel
* Hybrid office/remote work
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Computer Science/Information Systems or a related field
* 5+ years of Oracle ERP functional systems experience (preferably Cloud, R12 acceptable)
* 2+ years of Oracle Cloud ERP functional systems experience
