Build the future of the AI Data Cloud. Join the Snowflake team.

At Snowflake, we're on a mission to enable every organization to be data-driven. As we continue our rapid expansion, we're looking for a strategic, data-driven SEO Manager, NOAM (IC3) to lead and evolve our organic search efforts across North America.

This is more than a traditional SEO role. As AI Agents, Large Language Models, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) reshape how users discover and interact with content, this role sits at the intersection of AI-led discovery and next-gen search behavior. You'll play a pivotal role in adapting our SEO strategy to meet this moment-future-proofing our approach, driving growth, and shaping the next chapter of organic visibility in a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Define and execute a forward-looking SEO strategy that aligns with business goals and evolves with algorithm updates, zero-click search, AI-generated answers, and generative search interfaces.

  • Lead keyword and intent research using both traditional SEO tools and emerging AI-based discovery insights to capture high-value opportunities.

  • Collaborate with content, web, and UX teams to ensure on-page SEO, IA, and content structure supports human and machine comprehension alike.

  • Guide technical SEO improvements in partnership with development and IT teams, focusing on crawlability, page speed, schema markup, and mobile-first indexing.

  • Champion Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) by influencing how Snowflake is surfaced across AI chat interfaces, voice search, and emerging LLM-driven platforms.

  • Build high-quality, intent-matching content with internal and external creators-content that ranks in traditional SERPs and is referenced in generative answers.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance, identifying actionable insights across traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversions.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, PR, Customer Marketing, and Organic Social teams to ensure SEO is embedded across every digital touchpoint.

  • Manage relationships with SEO agencies and internal stakeholders to scale programs and maintain operational excellence.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in B2B tech or SaaS environments.

  • Deep understanding of modern SEO, including content strategy, technical SEO, and search engine algorithms.

  • Experience with leading SEO and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, GSC, BrightEdge, SEMrush, Ahrefs).

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting to cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in content optimization and a solid grasp of search intent.

  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools, LLM behavior, and evolving AI-agent-driven search experiences.

  • Experience conducting technical SEO audits and implementing scalable fixes.

  • Curiosity and adaptability to stay ahead of rapidly evolving search trends.

  • Willingness to work from our Menlo Park office at least 3 days per week.
