CARPENTER FOREMAN DUTIES:

Candidate must have the
ability to lead up to 5 or 6 carpenters, promote and ensure safe work
practices, minimum OSHA 10, participate and communicate with project
leadership in staff meetings, and be computer/iPad proficient.

• Read drawings and specifications.
• Do take offs and source materials.
• Installing wooden structures such as decks, stairs, partitions, handrails,
  walls, etc.
• Install & maintain cable handrail around the project.
• Designing and installing forms, walls, for concrete.
• Install doors, door handles, locks, hinges, and closures
• Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job
• Install/fix fencing, signage, project description signage, trailer signage,
  etc.
• Installing guard shacks, temporary facilities, structures, etc.
• Install embeds, angle and sleeves for concrete placements.
• Operate/use all types of hand tools.
• Operate typical pieces of equipment (bobcat, boom lift, forklift, lull,
  tractor/sweeper).

WORK CONDITIONS AND HOURS:

Conditions and hours

• Works on-site over rough terrain
• Requires overtime hours
• Often exposed to the elements
• Must be comfortable with travel on a need-to-need basis
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Some weekends are required
• Frequent activity of Standing, Kneeling, Walking, Climbing, Bending, reaching above
• Shoulders, Pushing, and Pulling
• Must be able to climb and work at heights above 6 feet

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Work Experience

• One (1) year Construction Experience

Certifications

• OSHA 10 Certified
