Supply Technician

Where: Fort Riley, Kansas (Fort Riley TFM)

Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $27.26-$27.26/hour

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

Tessera is seeking an organized and proactive Supply Technician with a can-do attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain supply records that properly account for all SRA material and stock.
  • Prepare and or generate all Business Intelligence (BI) reports, as required - i.e. (customer recons, monthly inventories, zero balance report, due-in listing, COOP list, customer issue list).
  • Customer interface to determine overdue material/parts, receive and process transactions.
  • Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, utilizing material handling equipment (MHE).
  • Examines material, verifies part numbers, and checks discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts.
  • May constructs fiberboard or wooden containers. Packs, crates, stencils, weighs and bands parts and supplies.
  • Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.
  • May oversee loading, unloading, segregation, dunnage, palletizing, and selection of stock and storage areas.
  • Drives vehicle to outlining areas to check status of orders or to deliver materials or parts, as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in Warehouse or Logistics preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the governing supply regulations, supply related automated information systems, programs, policies, work methods, manuals and or other established guidelines preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Maximo is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

  • Where permitted by applicable law, you must have received the COVID-19 vaccine in full by date of hire to be considered for employment (unless otherwise exempted from this policy by an approved medical or religious exemption).
  • Valid state Driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
