Job Overview We're looking for a Bar Back to join our dynamic team. Whether it's delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting our world-class culinary and hospitality teams, or ensuring smooth daily operations, you'll be an essential part of what makes The Source Hotel a standout destination! What You'll Do
- Stock the bar with drinks, garnishes, glassware, and other necessary supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including wiping surfaces, disposing of trash, and cleaning workstations.
- Assist bartenders by replenishing liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Refill ice bins and ensure an adequate supply of bar tools and glassware.
- Retrieve, wash, restock glassware and utensils.
- Prepare garnishes, syrups, and other bar ingredients as needed.
- Assist with keg changes and maintain proper beer line sanitation.
- Monitor and replenish inventory throughout shifts.
- Provide support during high-volume service periods.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Interact professionally with guests and colleagues, occasionally in an unsupervised capacity.
- Access and maintain control of sensitive areas within the premises, such as the storage/liquor room.
- Uphold a high level of trust, responsibility, and professionalism while representing the company.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- Required: At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Required: Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Required: Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing and completing assigned job tasks effectively.
- Ideal: Bi-lingual oral, speech, and writing skills in English and Spanish or other language is an asset in this position
- Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Required: Ability to learn a variety of software.
- Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey messages clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar.
- Required: Strong presentation skills; convey messages clearly and confidently; persuade and effect change positively.
