Vehicle Operator, Robotaxi

Join Tesla's vehicle operations team to support Tesla's Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS),Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised), in real-world ride-sharing scenarios. You'll act as the bridge between FSD (Supervised) and passengers, ensuring seamless pickups, drop-offs, and route navigation in dynamic environments. You will be responsible for driving an engineering vehicle for extended periods, conducting dynamic audio and camera data collection for testing and training purposes This role demands adaptability, customer service skills, strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills and a commitment to refining ADAStechnology through hands-on passenger interactions.

This opportunity will require the flexibility of traveling to domestic destinations, as necessary.

Friday - Monday

Day Shift: 6:00AM - 5:00PM

Afternoon Shift: 2:00PM - 1:00AM

Night Shift: 10:00PM - 9:00AM

Sunday - Thursday and Tuesday - Saturday

Day Shift: 6:00AM - 3:00PM or 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Afternoon Shift: 2:00PM - 11:00PM or 4:00PM - 1:00AM

Night Shift: 12:00AM - 9:00AM

• Operate Tesla engineering vehicles with FSD (Supervised) during 6-8 hour daily shifts, prioritizing data collection, passenger safety and comfort
• Manage rider interactions with excellent customer service (e.g., greetings, route adjustments, troubleshooting passenger concerns)
• Navigate environments (e.g., construction zones, pedestrian-heavy areas, traffic congestion) while monitoring FSD (Supervised)performance, and intervene as necessary to ensure safe operations
• Ensure vehicle readiness via pre-shift safety checks (sensor calibration, software status, cleanliness)
• Start/Stop recording devices and perform minor equipment/software debugging as needed
• Analyze and report on the quality of data collected during each shift
• Provide feedback and suggest process improvements to optimize data collection
