AGE Solutions is looking for a Security Engineer to join our team in support of an upcoming cybersecurity risk management and assessment program with our DoD customer. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for providing protection to data end-to-end by ensuring the communication protocols in the Internet protocol suite, data services, and associated ports used on DoD IS are registered, controlled, and regulated properly.

Responsibilities Include:



  • Ensure compliance with DoD-approved standards, architectures, and guidelines (e.g., DISN)
  • Support execution of PPSM strategic, operational, and organizational objectives
  • Respond to inquiries and registration requests for ports, protocols, and services
  • Provide monthly performance metrics to the Government
  • Develop technical papers on PPSM and cybersecurity-related topics
  • Support communication of deliverables with PPSM leadership and stakeholders (e.g., RE41)
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across PPSM processes


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred)
  • Five (5) years of overall experience in cybersecurity or network security position
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAM/IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification
  • Proficiency in PPSM Registry management, eMASS, and DISA DMZ Whitelist processes
  • Demonstrable experience with network security, ports/protocols, firewalls, and boundary protection
  • Experience in vulnerability management and assessment
  • Understanding of network architectures, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing, and switching
  • Strong understanding of NIST 800-53, 8551.01, DISA security policies, and compliance monitoring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and stakeholder engagement


Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000
