Role Descriptions & Responsibilities As an intern within the Simulation Visualization team, you will work closely with the R&D team to develop and improve our test suites to improve the overall quality of our applications. The Simulation Visualization R&D team is responsible for the development of applications to provide visualization of simulation data from Structural, Fluids, and Electro-magnetic simulations utilizing the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. We develop simulation visualization applications which run both on-premise and on the cloud. Our visualization architecture runs in a multi-core environment. We are a diverse team working in Rhode Island, France, Germany, and India. During this internship, you will be developing and improving software used for testing our applications. As part of this role, you will be learning to use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and its simulation applications, utilizing our development environment, and interacting with the development team to assist with ongoing development functions. Qualifications * Currently enrolled in college or master's degree program with focus on Computer Science * Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering or Physics is desirable * Knowledge of programming in a structured language (C++, Python, and JavaScript preferable) * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English * Should be a quick learning, enjoys learning new software tools and technologies * Work onsite at the Dassault Systemes Johnston office This internship opportunity is based out of our Johnston, RI Office. This is a 4-6 month paid internship position with flexible start date. Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience.
