The Senior Director, eVinci Sales is accountable for leading and overseeing the eVinci Sales & Market Development Organization for the eVinci product line. The organization consists of sales representatives and support staff (such as proposal support) responsible for capturing opportunities to meet overall sales and strategic objectives for the eVinci Technologies Business Unit. This position is located in Pittsbugh (Etna), PA. No sponsorship is provided. This individual is responsible for leading teams in cross-functional efforts to develop capture strategies working with product management, engineering, and account managers from the initial identification of opportunities through negotiation and finalization of contracts across multiple eVinci application spaces. The Senior Director, eVinci Sales is responsible for developing creative contracting and partnership strategies that drive success for all key stakeholders, including Westinghouse, Customers and Partners. The eVinci Sales & Market Development team is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key customers. In addition, this individual will oversee the development and maintenance of training plans for the Sales & Markets Organization to ensure the team maintains the appropriate technical and sales-related knowledge to fulfill the roles. This individual has overall accountability for capturing opportunities to meet eVinci objectives which includes the identification and development of opportunities to increase Westinghouse's market share in existing and emerging markets. Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority): Responsible for leading and overseeing the eVinci sales & market development organization Lead organization responsible for interfacing with customers through execution of technical sales activities and maintaining positive key customer relationships. This includes identification of customers in various market segments and applications of eVinci, and may include funding customers such as national, state, provincial or other governments (in conjunction with Government Affairs and Westinghouse Government Services) Accountable for closing deals to ensure orders are received to meet objectives such as orders targets for the eVinci team. Responsible for proposal strategy supporting commercial customers, government customers (through WGS), and government funding opportunities such as U.S. Department of Energy Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) Responsible for working cross-functionally with other Westinghouse teams including account leaders, engineering, marketing, legal, finance, product management, manufacturing, communications, government services and government affairs to drive product growth and achieve sales objectives Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the overall opportunity pipeline and sales cycle process and improving it, including the development of the capture strategies starting with the bid/no-bid process through contract closure. This includes development of creative contracting and partnership strategies Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders in target market segments and/or geographies that drive introduction and adoption of the eVinci product line. Key stakeholders may include customers, governmental entities (federal, provincial/state, local), regulatory bodies, industry groups, indigenous peoples, universities, and/or needed partners Accountable for ensuring governance (Limits of Authority or LOA) process is managed and approvals obtained by all key stakeholders in support of the offer capture strategy. Lead or oversee negotiations with customer and funding partners where relevant and drive alignment with all WEC stakeholders Ensure sales function objectives are met (OE, pipeline, etc) Lead change and drive a high standard of performance throughout the organization Accountable for assessing, developing, and maintaining personnel (including use of key performance indicators) within the sales organization that supports the overall sales process needs in both technical and sales training plans focused on business segment needs. Develop and mature processes, tools and systems that support efficiency and scalability for the eVinci sales and market development organization. Travel as required to conferences, customers, government offices or other relevant locations to facilitate meetings, maintain relationships and engagement Ensure adequate depth of understanding across the eVinci team of the landscape, markets, customer needs and competitors (including non-nuclear competitors) Monitor and capitalize on market trends including but not limited to regional and national energy price fluctuations, drive for decarbonization and energy availability challenges. Education Level\Minimum Requirement: Bachelor of Science / Engineering / Business or other Bachelor's considered with relevant work experience 10 plus years of experience working with nuclear technologies. Preferred experience in customer-centric or new product roles Skills and Competencies: Strategic thinking and ability to develop creative solutions Experience working in a collaborative matrix environment Strong ability to advocate, influence and negotiate General knowledge of nuclear technologies, preferably related to advanced reactors Sales or market-related experience and/or education Leadership experience Preferred experience in strategic deployment and market development Entrepreneurial mindset able to identify and capitalize on opportunities, pivot as needed, and create an environment for continuous learning and improvement Why Westinghouse?
