AGE Solutions is looking for a Connection Approval Lead to join our team in support of an upcoming cybersecurity risk management and assessment program with our DoD customer. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and/or enforcing compliance of policies derived from U.S. Code, summarized in OMB Cir A-130 Appendix 3, which require specific Government authorization to operate IT systems on behalf of the Government, and enable and contribute to configuration management, processes, and procedures for managing, reviewing, and resolving authorization and connection decision actions to operate and defend the DoD networks. Individuals in this role must be available to work on-site at Ft. Meade, MD for the majority of the workweek. Responsibilities Include:
- Support Connection Approval branch leadership with communication, deliverables, and documentation, including briefings, white papers, SOPs, CONOPS, COOP Plans, and DISN CPG updates.
- Ensure compliance with DoD architectures, programs, and standards, developing and maintaining SOPs/TTPs, and distributing up to three memorandums annually.
- Attend up to 12 external events annually, including governance boards and working groups, providing meeting minutes and tracking action items.
- Maintain data integrity of CAO databases, managing organizational mailboxes, tracking MP metrics, and processing connection package correspondence using Government-approved systems.
- Develop and implement policies, plans, and SOPs for compliance with Federal, DoD, and DISA policies, including SIPRNet Access Migration (SAM), MPLS networks, RMF, and Cloud connection approvals.
- Provide cybersecurity policy recommendations supporting DISA's strategic planning, governance, and change management.
- Conduct IA compliance analysis and assess the cybersecurity impact of DISN connections, reviewing network packages, RMF Security Authorization Packages, and security agreements (MOAs/MOUs).
- Process and perform quality assurance on connection approval packages, resolving customer issues and ensuring compliance with DoD policies.
- Process connection packages within five business days, extract and deliver monthly performance metrics reports, and provide weekly 30/60/90-day reports on expiring circuit connections to CAO Government and JFHQ-DODIN personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred)
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- DoD 8570 IAM/IA Technical (IAT) Level III certification
- Knowledge and experience with functional area expertise in National and DoD IT policy.
- Knowledge and experience with establishing and maintaining a process for evaluating software and associated documentation.
- Expert level knowledge of determining the resources required for quality control.
- The ability to maintain the level of quality throughout the software life cycle.
- The ability to conduct formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development lifecycle.
- The ability to provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.
Compensation: $115,000 - $126,000
