POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide leadership in the development and implementation of a comprehensive college and career education counseling program that promotes inquiry of careers and all types of experiential learning opportunities and that emphasizes to students the advantages of completing school with marketable skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Provides direct instruction for a diverse student population that emphasizes the development of Foundational (SCANS) Skills:
Provides direct career and post-secondary instruction for a diverse student population that emphasizes the development of long-range career and educational plans:
Assists with the implementation of a comprehensive career education program
Attends seminars, conferences, workshops and other professional development activities necessary to develop and maintain knowledge and skills Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL FACTORS:
