JOB TITLE: Crew Member STATUS: Non-Exempt

SALARY: $20-$23 / hour based on experience

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

This job requires that you service the customer's needs to the best of your ability. Service equipment, install and erect new products on patrons farms. Utilize and direct the actions of the crew people assigned to you for maximum effectiveness. Take pride in your work, believe in your products, be cheerful, enthusiastic, and show interest in your customer, and the work you are doing for him.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Stay current and informed on technical information and product changes.

Know how to repair and install all product lines.

Be able to train and supervise crew people.

Review crew hours for accuracy and efficiency.

Establish and maintain good communication with patrons.

Make sure all work is completed before leaving project.

Complete all work orders for correct billing of material and labor.

Record movement of all company material.

Have control of the project at all times.

Take charge of all work assignments.

Provide quality service levels, which assures customers satisfaction.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for maintaining company equipment according to company standards, adheres to the company Uniform Policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image.

Forman is responsible for the equipment in the assigned crew truck.

Must be willing and able to work at any other location/department when requested.

Performs all responsibilities within the company guidelines and policies.

Attend appropriate training and meetings.

Display good judgement, positive attitude, and enthusiasm when dealing with customers and other employees.

Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

Normally requires related experience and/or training to demonstrate the ability to repair and maintain company equipment and vehicles. Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Functional Skills

Understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment and vehicles.

Proven professional communication and customer service skills and the ability to comprehend simple instructions and communicate one-on-one and in small groups with customers and other employees.

Demonstrated time management and basic math skills.

Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Core Skills

Demonstrated core skills including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Other Requirements

Ability to be accessible and on call for repairs and emergencies at the discretion of management

Maintain a valid CDL drivers license.

Ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
