Role Description & Responsibilities

Our Dassault Systemes SIMULIA Fluid R&D is excited to announce we have a hybrid internship opportunity available in our Waltham, MA office!

As an intern within the physics research validation team, you will be responsible for verification, validation and facilitating development of novel fluid physics modeling methods in CFD for a broad range of applications related to aero-acoustics and multiphase flows. You will help the Team with the roll out of products and processes that simulate the world in which we live. We are the Dassault Systemes brand that provides simulation for product, nature, and life.

This is a paid sixth month internship/co-op, from June to December 2025. You will be working on a hybrid schedule in the Dassault Systemes SIMULIA office located in Waltham, MA.

During this internship, you will assist with the physics validation of SIMULIA's flagship CFD solution on:

* Design, develop and continuously improve software in order to provide World Class Apps, Services &Technologies delivering experiences & value to end-users. Continuously improve deliveries based on usage & user feedbacks.

* Product release validations for all acoustics related workflows (T&M, A&D ...) to ensure quality product release (accuracy, robustness & performance)

* Physics development validations (acoustics & multiphase) on numerical algorithms and fluid/acoustic modeling to further develop/expand product features in acoustics and multiphase capabilities for broader workflow coverage and enhancement in T&M, A&D ..

* Critical Customer project Investigations in acoustics/multiphase to identify gaps between current technology & workflows, and propose solution directions for product development.

* You'll also need to perform literature review on selected topics and summarize findings, set up numerical tests for related CFD benchmarks, develop codes/scripts to automate

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a validation engineer on CFD multiphase flows with skills in the following areas:

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges related to natural language understanding, dialog management, and user interaction.
