Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for a School Psychologist teaching position (1.0 FTE) at Harmony Elementary. This position begins in August 2025, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in shaping the future success of our students. We provide a competitive starting salary of $58,816 (based on the 2024-25 matrix) for a 190-day contract, available to candidates with a Master's degree. Additional compensation is available for those with prior public education teaching experience and further education beyond a bachelor's degree, with adjustments for the 2025-2026 contract year to be determined. An annual hard to fill stipend in the amount of $3,500 will be included with the salary offer. The School District of Milton's comprehensive benefits package further enhances this offering. Qualifications: The School District of Milton is seeking individuals who will engage students in the learning process. Candidates should be organized, flexible, have strong communication skills, and the ability to provide comprehensive school psychologist services to include assessment, consultation, collaboration, and interventions for students in a 4K to 3rd grade setting. The successful candidates will be able to: demonstrate knowledge and skills regarding assessment of young children with disabilities, effective inclusive practices, positive behavioral interventions, and best practice for students with a wide range of abilities and disabilities; work collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and substantial contributor to the school and district; assume a leadership role in the implementation of district initiatives, Section 504 evaluation processes, and special education service delivery. Applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in School Psychologist - 7062.
