Based in beautiful and affordable Racine, Wisconsin, at our Headquarters on the shore of Lake Michigan, you'll have incredible access to a variety of outdoor activities whether skiing and snowmobiling in winter, or kayaking, fishing, sailing, hiking or more in summer. What you will do:

The Senior Social Media Specialist for Jetboil, builds brand preference and product awareness and interest by planning, creating, and publishing content on social media platforms; manages community engagement; creates and maintains a strong, positive brand presence. They will lead the development and execution of advanced social media strategies to drive engagement and growth, and assists manager with developing best-in-class content.



  • Strategy Development: Leads the development and execution of organic social media strategy and plans, which includes developing content and publishing on each platform.


  • Marketing Activation: Collaborates internally to align organic social plans with marketing campaigns and goals, contributing to marketing activation plan performance and success.


  • Content Planning, Creation and Management: Assists manager with developing content marketing plans and on-brand, best-in-class content; drives year-over-year improvements in KPIs among prospective audiences and followers by creating, curating, and managing timely and engaging content optimized for specific social platforms and intended audiences, increasing reach and engagement.


  • Influencer Marketing: Works with Content Marketing Manager/Sr Manager to manage influencer marketing program to acquire content and/or reach our audiences through their platforms.


  • Community Engagement: Listens, engages, and responds to online conversations with consumers, as appropriate, or collaborates with others to do so. Shares voice of the consumer with Brand Management team.


  • Visual Content Development: Develops graphics and other visual elements for social posts as needed or collaborates with others to do so.


  • Performance Analysis: Analyzes performance against KPIs regularly, using internal tools and native platform reporting, as needed. Optimizes plans and content using learning from analysis.


  • Best Practices and Trends: Identifies and analyzes best-in-class social media strategies and content and monitors best practices and trends including platform changes that will materially impact strategies; adjusts strategies as needed to hit KPI targets. Shares insights with the team, stays up to date with changes in key social platforms and proposes relevant plan changes.


  • Customer Service Partnership: Partners with customer and technical service teams to enable response to direct consumer messages.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.



What you need to succeed:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or equivalent.


  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of social media experience using multiple social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram) and creating/publishing social media content to increase community engagement.


  • Strong experience using social/digital media publishing platforms within a professional/business environment and developing social media strategies and plans.


  • Skills and experience in developing and delivering creative content (text, image, and video). Demonstrated creative skills to contribute to social media strategy. Photography/videography skills a plus.


  • A passion for and love of the outdoors, especially hiking, camping, overlanding and hunting.


    • Demonstrated analytical skills to identify social media trends and analyze social platform performance to maximize social growth.


    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


    • Strong knowledge of SEO and keyword research on social media platforms.


    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers/consumers, internal teams, and external vendors. Ability to understand the brand and products and communicate directly with customers on social media mediums.


    • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize work.


    • Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
