MTSI is seeking a System Engineer in support of a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) acquisition program office. You will support system development activities, system and sub-system integration, system operations, as well as test and evaluation for missile defense technologies and applications as part of a dynamic Program Office in support of multiple DoD COCOMs and Service Components. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• You will monitor and coordinate development activities and provide technical guidance on the implementation of requirements.
• Analyze system baselines as a result of operational needs, technology obsolescence, and/or system enhancements to maintain operational effectiveness and readiness.
• Support readiness reviews, technical interchange meetings, technology readiness assessments and system design reviews (PDR, CDR), and Agile software design processes.
• Support sustaining/operations engineering activities such as emplacing and operating system platforms, monitoring system performance, O-level repairs, and operator training.
• Support test events and provide engineering and validation assessments to ensure systems meet the intended purpose and have operational utility.

• Motivated self-starter who is able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment, often with minimal guidance and within rigid timelines.
• 9 years' of relevant experience.
• Proven track record of success in managing complex projects or tasks.
• Good analytic and critical thinking skills and the ability to apply them in a multi-task environment where more than one project may require his/her participation at any given time.
• Outstanding communication skills; able to convey complex technical issues and provide comprehensive written, oral and/or digital products.
• Bachelor degree in a related field of study.
• Active Secret Clearance
