Role Descriptions & Responsibilities As a User Assistance Intern, you will be at the forefront of innovation on the Dassault Systemes BIOVIA User Assistance team. As an intern on the team, you will have access to our advanced tools and technologies within Pipeline Pilot, enabling you to gain hands-on experience in leveraging this tool to develop novel features, and make a meaningful impact on the team's objectives. You will create a technical documentation conversion process to move legacy HTML documentation to a modern architecture. The User Assistance team is at the forefront of helping our clients create products and services in a novel, sustainable way. Some of your responsibilities include: * Liaise with stakeholders to identify requirements and present results. * Learn how to use Pipeline Pilot to develop a protocol to migrate HTM files to DITA XML. * Contribute to quality checks in all user assistance deliverables including end user documentation, UX content, messaging, and workflow. Qualifications * Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or an Engineering-related field * Knowledge of HTML and DITA/XML * Understanding of data-driven modeling is a plus * A curious mind, a willingness to collaborate in a team environment, and openness to learning and trying new concepts. * Strong critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to seeking knowledge and asking questions. * Ability to contribute to analysis, and problem-solving using various tools and techniques. * Willingness to embrace diverse perspectives and welcome opposing and conflicting ideas. This is a 3 month paid internship on-site at our Durham, NC or San Diego, CA office starting May/June 2025. You will be expected to follow a hybrid work model. Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience.
