Role Description & Responsibilities: Dassault Systemes is looking for a talented and experienced User Assistance Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating user-centric documentation that enhances the customer experience and supports the effective use of our software solutions. You will engage with the R&D and Product Management team to have a clear understanding of the functionalities being developed and in the interfaces and user input required. Key Responsibilities: Author user guides in XML, which are transformed into contextual online help in HTML. Create clear and engaging "What's New" content that highlights new features for customers. Write tooltips. Document system settings and configurations managed by administrators. Address and resolve customer feedback related to documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or user assistance. Proficient with XML editing tools (preferably Oxygen). Knowledge of DITA standards, HTML, and source control systems. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, and increasing independence, responsibility, and leadership. Experience working with multiple cultures and a geographically distributed team. Strong analytical skills: must be able to clearly define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Experience providing guidance and feedback to peers (technical editing, peer reviewing, mentoring, etc.) Excellent time management and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience or familiarity with documenting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and mobile applications. Exposure to Agile development environments and practices. "Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $130,000 to $175,000 representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus".
