Job Title: Facility and Grounds Maintenance Tech - Texas
Reports To: Operations Manager
Scope: This position is responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, equipment, and environmental controls for the facility.
This information reflects the proposed base salary range for this position based on available data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors including job related skills, experience, applicable education or training and other relevant factors.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Preventive maintenance for all building infrastructure and machinery including compressed air, water, irrigation, gate controllers, paint booth heaters, booth exhaust systems, power scaffolding, facility lighting and building HVAC systems.
- Troubleshooting, repair, and minor installations of building infrastructure and machinery including compressed air, water, irrigation, gate controllers, paint booth heaters, booth exhaust systems, power scaffolding and building HVAC systems.
- Responds quickly and effectively to address complaints regarding facilities. Makes minor repairs, corrects safety and addresses environmental concerns and ensures controls are in place to minimize risks.
- Repair small tools and equipment as required.
- Maintains grounds, parking lot and buildings as necessary.
- Oversees facility EPA and OSHA compliance programs. Performs routine inspections and corrects out of compliance issues.
- Oversees facility lockout tag out program with regards to building and grounds related equipment.
- Understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations applicable to site operations, buildings, grounds and personnel including EPA, OSHA and DOT.
- Other Duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must have a valid driver's license
Physical Demands:
- Ability to frequently move items up to 100 pounds
- Ability to constantly move about inside offices, service areas and other areas around the property
- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder
