ResponsibilitiesJoin our Cloud Engineering team as an individual contributor to build in-house solutions and applications for Microsoft Federal. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software that meets the unique needs of our federal clients, while articulating value propositions for strategic Microsoft products and services. Perform imaging and configuration of the Data Transfer Workstations (DTW) for deployment. Follow and improve the deployment process and documentation with coordination of Data Transfer Engineering team. Work across teams to ensure products meet customer requirements. Coordinate with Project Managers to fulfill customer hardware installation requests. Travel to local sites to install Data Workstation computers. Perform validation and documentation of the Data Transfer Workstation installation at the local site. Provide customer training and answer questions as necessary for the data transfer process with the Data Transfer Workstation. Monitors overall system health, performs routine maintenance, and documents / recommends new workflows for stability. Manages Operational System Management (through IT Service Management) escalation and triage as required. Troubleshooting and remediation activities as appropriate to include coordination with System Owners, Product Team, and Migration Team. Complete regular maintenance on all systems/applications to include patching and vulnerability remediation and identification of end-of-life replacements. Follows and improves upon Change Request processes and coordination of Situational Awareness to identified points of contact. Execution of test cases for resolution of issues implemented by either Engineering or external teams, documentation of results and communication back to the appropriate party.
