Staff Research Associate Dermatology Dermatology Full Time 84551BR Job Summary This is an 18-month limited position. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $26.00 - $31.04 (Hourly Rate). The Department provides medical students, residents, and post-doctoral fellows in the School of Medicine, with programs in research, patient care, teaching and public service. The mission of our group is to understand, measure and improve the health of patients with chronic skin disease, as well as train future leaders in the field of patient-oriented research. The Department is comprised of four distinct clinical sub-units located at the Ambulatory Care Center, San Francisco General Hospital, Mount Zion and the Veteran's Administration Medical Center. The Department consists of 31 full-time faculty, 40 researchers, 40 staff, 13 residents and 6 clinical fellows. These operations are administered through various dispersed, interdependent sub-units, which are coordinated through a centralized Administrative Core. Required Qualifications
