Staff Accountant We are partnering with a manufacturing company looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role will concentrate on cost accounting and AP/AR, providing the accounting team with advanced financial analysis of business transactions. *Responsibilities:* Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Support the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Contribute to financial planning cycles. Collaborate with the Plant Controller on the budgeting process, analyzing variances and communicating findings. Develop financial forecasts and models for strategic decision-making. Maintain internal control procedures to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Support compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborate with auditors during financial audits. Conduct cost analyses to identify savings and process improvements. Analyze variances in costs and expenses, and review production job costs and inventory accuracy. Ensure adherence to accounting policies and standards and assist in resolving complex accounting issues. Collaborate with HR on payroll processing to ensure labor contract compliance. Continuously improve work procedures, documentation, and efficiency. Assist in standardizing processes across the company. Perform additional responsibilities as needed as the company evolves. *Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 4+ years of relevant finance experience. CPA is preferred. Proficient in accounting and finance software. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach. Experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Proficiency with multiple ERPs and BI/BW tools.
