*Job Title: PFM (HQ)* Job Description Provides consumer credit counseling and administers debt management services. Recovers loan payments that might otherwise have been lost due to members' financial difficulties.
Responsibilities * Provide consumer credit counseling to members. * Administer debt management services effectively. * Recover loan payments that might otherwise have been lost due to members' financial difficulties. * Evaluate member needs and provide appropriate solutions. * Apply innovative approaches to solve technical design issues. * Perform systems analysis, workflow, and procedural analysis as needed. * Utilize word processing and spreadsheet software effectively. Essential Skills * Experience in collections, sales, retail, administrative, and customer service. * Proficiency in insurance and banking collections. * Competence in working with multiple systems. * Empathy towards members' situations. * Strong critical thinking skills. * Working knowledge of consumer and credit card collections systems, policies, procedures, and practices. * Effective communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications * BS or Associate degree with retail or sales experience preferred. * HS Diploma with collections or call center experience. * Financial background or banking experience preferred. * Computer literacy. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vienna, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.62 - $20.62/hr.
