CDL B Local Route Driver

Staffmark Drivers is partnered with a local company who has an immediate opening for Class B box truck driver to make deliveries to schools and skilled nursing facilities around the LA area.



DRIVERS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Drivers will have pre-assigned routes for local deliveries of general food service products to skilled nursing facilities and schools.
  • Excellent customer service, must be able to communicate verbally and written with customers and dispatch on a daily basis.
  • Driver will be frequently lifting and carrying product from 10-50 pounds on a daily repetitive basis.
  • Driver must be able to operate a manual pallet jack or electric power jack.
  • Assist in loading trucks for routes and palletize product when needed. Must work in the warehouse when not driving
  • Ability to work in cold temperature environment, from freezers & refrigeration units down to 10 degrees exposure
  • Work overtime if required as requested

Monday through Friday

Start time is typically between 430am-530am

Job Requirements:



  • Minimum of 23 years of age
  • Current CDL Class B Driver License
  • 1 year of driving experience operating a 24' CDL-Class B Bobtail (Box Truck), 5-6 speed.
  • No DUI or Reckless driving in the past 5 years
  • No more than two moving violations or two preventable accidents or any combination of one moving violation or one accident in the previous two years.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
