Responsibilities

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $163,900 - $336,300 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.

We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Treasury Management Sales. This position will be responsible for driving rapid innovation, demonstrating operational agility, and delivering strategic growth through developing robust sales strategies, elevating client engagement, and ensuring long-term business growth through qualitative and quantitative effective sales leadership and value-add consulting initiatives. This role requires a visionary leader who has demonstrated success as a sales leader leading a Treasury Management Sales Team for a $70 Billion in Assets financial institution with an appetite for continued growth. The Senior Director of Treasury Management Sales thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspiring teams to deliver client-focused solutions faster and better with a focus on how actions drive desired outcomes. By championing speed to market and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, this individual ensures the Treasury Management sales delivery function remains ahead of market demands. This role oversees a high-performing team, ensures client-centric service delivery, supports organizational scalability and requires a firm understanding of financial and client metrics.

The position requires close collaboration with senior leadership to align objectives with corporate goals, while proactively addressing market trends, regulatory compliance, and emerging client needs.

This role is a thought leader, subject matter expert, change agent, effectively navigates from idea to execution, partners with others to bring them along in the journey, and are a known entity in the market and field.

Key Accountabilities

Revenue Growth and Client Relationship Acquisition/Retention

    Independently set goals and execute deliverables to drive revenue and ensure both client acquisition and retention
  1. Utilize data to drive and make informed decisions; gain insights from data to also identify gaps/missed opportunities/areas that can be leveraged (maximized) for additional results
  2. Oversee revenue targets for deposits, fee income, and portfolio growth
  3. Discipline and commitment to move the needle from great to best in class - consistently deliver top tier results; perform on par or exceed peer Bank results
  4. Build and sustain high-value client relationships with tailored solutions through top performing TMCs and TMAs; focusing both on new and existing clients
  5. Partner with internal stakeholders to drive cross-selling and deepen client engagement
  6. Evaluate metrics frequently to ensure data is accurate and reflects actual client acquisition, portfolio growth, retention, revenue generation, and other key indicators

Team Leadership and Development

  1. Establish and reinforce a culture of sales achievement with both TMCs and TMAs to grow and retain external client relationships
  2. Inspire, energize and lead a high-performing team that embraces change and moves quickly on strategic opportunities
  3. Implement tools and methodologies that empower teams to identify inefficiencies and innovate solutions rapidly
  4. Provide clarity, structure, and support for navigating and accelerating through organizational change
  5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
  6. Ensure team members are well-trained, motivated, and positioned for success
  7. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the sales force is equipped with the necessary tools, training, and resources to achieve revenue goals
  8. Define, set, and consistently manage to line of business priorities, organizational needs, and growth/scalability expectations
  9. Manage and mentor a team of Treasury professionals
  10. Establish leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future sales leaders

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field or HS diploma/GED with equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • 10-15 years of Treasury Management sales and consulting experience, including a variety of and progressive leadership roles
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
  • Expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, and team management
  • Advanced skills in client relationship management and retention
  • Sales leadership experience with proven positive outcomes in revenue growth, new client acquisition, existing client retention
  • Proven track record of driving rapid innovation and implementing agile processes within Treasury Management or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high achieving teams and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to establish, adhere to, manage through, solution and execute on TM Sales financials with a deep and proven understanding of sales and operational processes, competitive analysis, pricing, product development, people, etc.to ensure TM Sales teams meet/exceed budget
  • Ability to orchestrate organizational resources by identifying key players, communicating relevant information, and building collaborative client-focused relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Results oriented focus with ability to take control of situations, display ownership, make decisions, act, be accountable for those actions
  • Responsible for deliverables - takes ownership and meets expectations and deadlines without excuses
