DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Clerical Assistant 2 processes and tracks payments for propane deliveries and services to over 160 individual radio tower sites. Reviews all invoicing and monitors each individual account for accuracy and advises Statewide Radio Network Division of any billing issues. The person in this position also processes payments for propane deliveries and services with Bureau Purchasing Card. The Clerical Assistant 2 functions as a Timekeeper, reviews Cross Application Timesheets on a daily basis and applies appropriate attendance coding; inputs leave usage, overtime, compensatory time and temporary working out of classification assignments; enters permanent and temporary (i.e. substitution) changes to work schedule rules; provides assistance to staff regarding ESS entries; runs SAP payroll error and overtime display reports to ensure accuracy and completion of timekeeping data; and works with Time Advisor to resolve payroll-related issues. Additionally, the Clerical Assistant 2 tracks holidays for Bureau members and submits yearly Holiday Reconciliation to Transactions and Payroll.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
