*Job Title:* OSP Permitting Specialist
*Location:* Tyler, TX *Job Type:* Full-time *Hours:* 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday *Job Description:* We are seeking a motivated and experienced OSP Permitting Specialist to join our team onsite in Georgetown, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and obtaining necessary permits for our Outside Plant (OSP) projects, including aerial and underground installations. This is an office-based position with no field work required. *Key Responsibilities:* * Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to obtain necessary permits for OSP projects. * Prepare and submit permit applications for aerial and underground installations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements. * Track and manage the status of permit applications and ensure timely approvals. * Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure all permitting requirements are met. * Maintain accurate records of all permits and related documentation. * Work closely with TxDOT and other utility companies to ensure all permitting requirements are met. *Qualifications:* * At least 1 year of experience in pulling permits for OSP jobs, including both aerial and underground installations. * Proven experience working with TxDOT and other utility companies. * Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes and regulations. * Excellent organizational and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience working for a direct Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a significant plus. * Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and permit application software. *Skills:* * Proficiency in permit application software and tools. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
