Job Overview

The Client's AV engineering department oversees global corporate events, daily AV operations, and the maintenance of 1500+ conference rooms, as well as the establishment of conference rooms globally as needed. We are seeking an individual to contribute to the integrity of our local conference rooms, providing AV troubleshooting and customer support for our Client's employees. Training opportunities, including Audio Video and other Service Desk-related IT training, will be available. Daily AV sweeps are essential, and the ideal candidate will maintain a detailed log of all issues.

Responsibilities

* Maintain 100+ conference rooms in this location
* Complete daily sweep inspections of all conference rooms and perform AV basic troubleshooting
* Daily room sweeps include checking:
* All AV user cables for physical condition and signal transmission
* Proper placement and functionality of power cables for laptops
* Connectivity of both Zoom and Team iPads to the network
* Correct video and audio settings on Zoom iPads
* Launching a call to ensure both audio and video transmission
* Logistics and inventory support for local offices
* Inventory tracking and management
* Preparation of hardware for deployment

Skills

* Ability to work with limited supervision and maintain focus during repetitive tasks
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* Understanding of basic AV signal flow and capability for basic troubleshooting
* Experience with ticketing systems; Jira knowledge is advantageous
* Ability to follow through and execute assigned tasks
* Ability to identify and report trends

Compensation

Estimated Pay Range: $26.35 - $31.00 USD

Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
