In the role of Electrical BIM Designer we'll count on you to:



  • Create electrical drawings for facilities such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security and fire
    detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Develop entry-level drawings by using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of other Electrical Technicians or Engineers
  • Perform other duties as


Preferred Qualifications



  • Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience
  • Has knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, modeling, and detailing
  • Strong computer skills in Revit - Microsoft Office, AutoCAD desired
  • Database familiarity a plus
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
  • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required
  • Preference given to local candidates

Required Qualifications
  • Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
  • Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
