Interim Source to Pay Manager

We are seeking an Interim Source to Pay Manager for 6+ months to support in managing end to end purchasing process for indirect goods and services.This role will fix the operational gaps in current processes by closely working with business users to ensure PO compliance while working with Accounts Payable to clear their back log of invoices that are awaiting an action from business user (pending PO, pending approval or pending receipt etc).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist business users in creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders.
  • Ensure that all purchase orders are accurate and comply with company policies.
  • Verify and process goods receipts against purchase orders, maintain appropriate documentation to support audit
  • Ensure accurate coding of expenses to provide meaningful reporting, help track actuals to budget/forecast
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, receipts, and vendor communications
  • Supporting the PO simplification project team, who are currently looking to redesign the PO process through system and process changes. This role will need to be involved heavily with project team during design, test and post deployment implementation stages.
  • a solid understanding of the S2P (source-to-pay) workflow, has experience in supporting supplier sourcing projects and operational finance/accounting, thrives in a fast-paced environment, can drive innovative process improvements to scale, has the courage to question the status quo, ability to influence and enjoys working cross-functionally with business partners across various functions (Marketing, Sales, R&D, etc).
  • Own finance-related tasks (supplier management, supplier rationalization, reviewing contracts, creating and reviewing purchase orders, facilitating change orders, receive goods and service, reviewing invoices, etc.) that drive financial accuracy
  • Run a mini project to clear the current invoice processing back log with AP team, by working with business users and get the necessary action taken to complete the pending PO activities.
  • Working with Project teams to redefine the end to end PO process and testing system functionalities prior to roll out.
  • Support roll out of revised simplified PO process and ensure smooth implementation of system / process changes.
  • Work with business users to enforce indirect procurement policies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years partnering with Sales/Marketing/HR teams or other similar fast-paced functions in a Finance/Accounting role with a working knowledge of accounting frameworks
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the Source-to-Pay process workflow, including supplier sourcing, contract reviews, and procure-to-pay process
